Phil Woods Song for Sisyphus

DCC Jazz CD sounds awful.  Congested, boomy bass, lousy soundstage.  I owned the original Gryphon select vinyl and remember better.  Is there a CD version worthwhile?  Thank you for insight.

🙄👎  Why do Harley guys alway's rev their engines at stop lights? Because otherwise they always stall. 😄👍 Celtic, I don't have experience with that album, but in attempt to offer a "helpful" answer, I always go to stevehoffmanforum to research sound quality etc,  of albums. I'm also a fan of Phil Woods, good luck.
I also find the Phil Woods DCC cds (Song for Sisyphus and I Remember), to be very disappointing sonically, especially compared to the vinyl.  If you look on Discogs, there are UK and German cd versions of Song for Sisyphus available, but they don't list the mastering credits, and I don't know about their sonics.
@isochronism   98% of Harleys produced are still on the road.  The other 2% made it home.  🤣
