Tubes AND SS?

Do many have both tube and solid state electronics? How often do you swap them out?

Just seems a waste to burn up tubes if I’m only watching TV.

Since the home theater runs every day for hours, since it plays music beside movies, I upgraded the speakers and power amps there.
