how do i turn off auto-mute on my stereo? JVC rx-6000v

how do i turn off auto-mute on my stereo? JVC rx-6000v. i've tried all the basic/obvious stuff.

I just tried it, but to get off of FM muting, you have to switch to mono. When i do that, my radio station turns to static. Any other suggestions?
