KEF LS50 Meta with Marantz MM7025

I am very interested in the LS50 Meta but I'm afraid I may have too much amp (which I bought two months ago).  The recommended speaker power rating is 40 to 100 watts.  My amp is 140 watts @ 8 ohms and 170 watts @ 6 ohms.  I'm not a loud volume listener.  Any input on the dangers of destroying a $1500 pair of speakers?  Should I do it?

You are good to go. I run my Ls 50 metas off 500 w/ch amps. I would not go louder than 90db or so with them in any case though in that they are small and only capable of so much output before they reach their limits.  Stay within the limits and they are awesome.
The KEF LS50 love power. I even ran them with Bryston 7B-SST which is about 600 watts @ 8Ohm.

This morning I connected the LS50 with a single Benchmark AHB2 (100 @ 8 Ohm) and I was lamenting the low power number.
