OPPO 205 or Bel Canto PL-1

I have the  opportunity to buy used an OPPO 205 transport or Bel Canto PL-1 transport.  I will connect the transport to a Bel Canto ACI 600 integrated amplifier.  Does anyone have experience to compare the Bel Canto PL-1 to the OPPO 205 and recommend one over the other?

I have no experience with the Bel Canto, but I think the Bel Canto is probably presents much better sound quality.  However, it's going to be 15 years old.  Unless you can find somebody to re-cap the Bel Canto, the Oppo is likely to have much better longevity.

I have a PL1 universal player and IMHO it still competes with the mid-top tier today. I also have an OPPO 205 which is more versatile (e.g. Blu-Ray) but not quite the equal of the BelCanto for redbook, SACD and DVD-a. The OPPO was great for price. The BelCanto new was around $8,000+.
