Calling all electrostatic speaker owners

What are the sonic symptoms of a dusty electrostatic panel? Is vacuuming the best cleaning method?

Just because you have never washed you car doesn't mean it doesn't need it :) But more seriously, an electrostatic charge attracts dust which over time may degrade sound quality.
