Emotiva T Zero or HSU HCCB8

Hi guys, first post here.

I'm an experienced audiophile with many sets of speakers but looking to try something new. Have it down to these two, have researched everything and really not interested in any other speakers (I know how these conversations can go lol, second post is suggesting a third option and we are off to the races).

I will be running these near field in a desk setup. Space is not a concern, it's not a workstation, more a fun desk with a big TV.

Emotiva T Zero +, highly regarded tower (I've never really owned a tower unless my Magnepans count). Ribbon tweeter, I miss having one and would like a ribbon in my collection. I have 2 subwoofers to cover the lack of low end.

HSU HCCB8. Twice the price. Probably the most glowing industry reviews for any speaker I've ever read, that nobody seems to own. High sensitivity. Never had a super efficient speaker before. And the designer went to M.I.T. super intrigued and will probably buy them eventually no matter what.

Either will be running off an Emotiva Bas X a300 so plenty of grunt.

Thoughts?

Thanks!
