Does the Chord TT2 Dac need a linear supply device?

Seems there may be diff views.  Chord says no.  The onboard psu is more than adequate.  So that sounds really good.

I experienced a nice step up adding a 12v 2a Teddy Pardo power supply to a RME adi-2 dac. RME says it will not help adding aftermarket psu, I find that not to be true. I found it to be worth the investment.
@emergingsoul, you answered your own question why the post ... ?

What do you want to accomplish here ... ???
Farad lps with Orange fuse - very nice improvement for tt2. With switched supply sound is somewhat grey...
Did you ever end up adding an LPS? Got the TT2 and looking at all the offerings from Farad, Teddy Pardo, and Sbooster.
