Yes true.... I have also treated my sidewalls with diffusor absorbers for 1st and 2nd point reflections...

Buying great equipment like so many do here are not getting the fullest experience I think without room treatments.

Good info. The audiophile & woodworker in me are aroused.  I'm eager to see the look on my wife's face when I bring it into the Living room as "Wall Art". 

Use the Diffusor Calculator App in Playstore.
You can select frequency range which will determine column lengths...
I use a Skyline Diffusor.
There are other types which result in less protuding to 0 columns.
