Very interesting thanks for the post. I just rebuilt some old JBL,s from 1969. Mine had the coax 14" drivers so they were kinda like a wave guild. Sound much better than I expected. It’s amazing how good some of those old speakers can sound especially when hooked up to modern high-end equipment.
