Amp for Sonus Faber Electa Amator

Hi
I have Sonus Faber Electa Amator + Audio Research LS7 pre+ VT50 amp + SF Gravis sub. I want to add a solid state amp to the system to fully explore the SF. Any experience with YBA 2 power (not HC version)? any comments or sugestions?
Thanks

As many .. if not the total Sonus Faber production .. the Electa Amator requires "only" Solid State amps ... and absolutely not Tubes!
Within S.S amps try only high current designs

IMHO
Hi Ruidrosa,

I listened the Electa Amator with many S.S and it sounded always perfect
Obviously you can try with good S.S .. a suggestion could be a Parasound Halo A21 , I saw one here preowned sold for less than 1500 $USD
But remember to try only good S.S with high current and amperes on the speaker cables .. Electa is fantastic speaker but demands current from amps.

IMHO
While EA might demand more power than the typical stand-mount speaker, I would not rule out tubes in your search for the best amplifier. In using a tube amp, you might loose a degree of bass authority, but the high end-response might be more to your liking? As usual, it's a matter of personal preference.
