Audioquest Niagara 1200 finally shipping!

I got one from Elusive Disc earlier this month.  Can't compare it to other models, as it's my first power conditioner.  It did banish a low level hum that plague me for a long time in phono stage mode with my PrimaLuna integrated.

I'd be interested in hearing other's impressions as well.  I recently removed my Brick Wall surge protector as I noted it was contributing some noise to my system.  Can anyone comment on the surge protection capability of the 1200 as well as reflecting on the sonic differences (hopefully improvements) made by the AC conditioning?   If it could also get rid of a faint transformer hum (only audible from less than 6 inches from speaker) that remains after my Emotiva CMX-2 removed 95% of it, that would be icing on the cake. 

My dad just got his. He runs 5 year old Klipschorns with current gen mcintosh tube preamp and mcinstosh 275 amplifier.  He went in thinking he was probably going to return it, and that it wouldn't be a noticeable performance.  He said it felt like a 20% improvement in sound quality.  He is a photographer and said it felt like turning the vibrance up in a color photograph.  He was a definite convert and now I might have to get one :/
