I just finished shopping for one. The closest you will come to silver is Sony's $1,299 BDP-S2000ES. It has a blue-tinted front panel but the top panel is silver aluminum. Every other player I looked at -- Denon, Pioneer Elite, Sony, Sharp, Samsung and Sharp Aquos -- was all black.
any BluRay players w/SILVER faceplate?
Forgive my shallowness, but I'm mainly a 2-channel tubes 'n horns guy. Have a separate home theater, and now that the dust has settled and BR has vanquished HD DVD, I want to get a BR player...but it must match the rest of my HT components, all of which are silver (Samsung STB, Anthem pre/pro and Butler TDB 5150 amp). Any ideas?
