So, what are your two most favorite CDs to listen to?

Cripes, I'm not even sure what my favorite genres are. But, here are a few I never get tired of:

Steely Dan. Countdown to Ecstasy
Steve Goodman. Words We Can Dance To
Christopher Parkening. Parkening Plays Bach
Blues Image. Open
The David Grisman Quintet
Holly Cole. Don't Smoke in Bed
Mighty Sam McClain. Give it Up to Love
Brahms Op 116-119, Stephen Kovacevich, piano
New Grass Revival Friday Night in America
Michael Kamen. New York Rock
I'll take a bite. First would be Hugh Laurie's "Didn't it Rain". My 2nd is a compilation made by Roger Sanders and sent to me with either my new 10Ds or Magtechs (cant remember), last year. On the CD was some pretty awesome music I had never heard before (Musica Nuda, Steven Strauss) as well as some very obscure perfectly recorded awesome demo tracks. I love it so much, I burned a copy just in case...
- Dianna Krall - The look of love (XRCD24); Simply amazing, analogue-like sound played on my Vitus cdp!
- Tony Bennett - Playing with my friends; this is a garden variety RBCD, but it is one of the best sounding normal rbcd's I own. I think Tony must have recorded the live recording direct to master tape & kept everything very pure and stripped down, hence the sound is intimate like it was supposed to sound. Love it.
