New Magnepan

Word is that Magnepan will premiere a new statement loudspeaker to replace the 20.1 at CES. Maybe a new Tympani?

Mac,
Speakers that actually have a sweet top end, and also a bit of wallop at the other end, what we audiophiles call bass!
..................Still only kidding.

Well looking back through some previous answers I see that Gawdbless just learned about MG-1's a couple of months ago, so I am about 99% sure that is his only experience with Maggies, and has not heard any of the subsequent models in the intervening 30yrs, especially with good associated equipment. If you put junk upstream of Maggies, they reveal that it's junk.

Anyway, can't wait to see the new Maggie at THE Show, pretty cool.
Hey! I owned MG-1s for over 20 years and thru a factory rebuild. Sold 'em 13 months ago and bought more Magnepan.

I wish the new owner the best.

If I had the SPACE and 13 large, the 20.1s would be MINE, but could 'only' afford the 1.6s.

Would the new panels be a 'typmani ized', multipanel version of the 3 or 20 series?
