Transcendence 2 ??

I just discovered that the Dynaco SCA-80 that I bought a few years ago on ebay is not a dynaco at all but a Transcendence 2 in an SCA-80 case. (I thought it sounded awfully good!:>)
Anyway, I know that this was a design by Van Alstine, but I can find precious little about it on the net. I did see a couple (old) for sale ads on this site, so I thought maybe one of you can shed some light on this amp. Any references, links, etc. would be very welcome!
