Old and new Naim amps . . .

If one had to choose between a used but excellent condition Naim 72/HiCap/180 combo, which can be had comaparatively cheaply, leaving more funds for better speakers adn uprading the source, or a brand new 202/200 combo. It has not surpassed notice that a used 72/HiCap/180 combo costs less than either a new 212 or 200 alone. (RC is not an absolute necessity.) TIA

Old Naim stuff lasts forever, but watch out as you'll ALWAYS want to upgrade your system.

If you've never had Naim before, the 72/hi/180 is a great place to start. It can be easily upgraded, and if you decide you don't like it you can always sell it again for roughly the same money. I'm using a CDX2 in front of olive gear and it sounds great.
