Your heading says Druids and you ask about Gallos?

You have already started two "Gallo v Zu" threads:
Now I see this post titled Zu, but it talks about the Gallos. :)
If you have narrowed the choice so far, why not try to listen to both and make the decision yourself?
You will have a tough time extracting optimal sound from any speaker given your parameters of a hard surfaced room and inflexible placement. With that in mind, the Gallos will be no better and no worse than dozens of other choices. If the Gallos are on the top of your list, then buy them (but I'd suggest buying a used pair).
I agree wholeheartedly with Tvad. There isn't any speaker that will perform optimally in that type of situation. Just be aware that the sound will be compromised whatever you purchase. If you can live with that, fine. But you might want to rethink your priorities if you are looking for high quality sound in that room.
I am using Gallo 3.0 in a large (22 x 24 x 8), acoustically bright room.

The Gallos really want to be out from the front wall. I did not have the space. For me the acoustic treatments were the ticket. Great soundstage. The brightness mentioned in another post is also now not an issue. It was before the treatments.
Acoustic treatments will be more important than whatever speakers you choose.
