Last year a local dealer allowed me to take home a demo pair of Studio 60 V5 and I sat them next to my Monitor Audio RS6 to compare side-by-side. I liked the Paradigms but in my system and my room, I felt they had some additional resolution compared to the Monitor Audio and comparable bass, but it was at the expense of some added harshness on the part of the Paradigms. In the end I reluctantly returned them, because I saw them as more of a lateral move than a step-up from the Monitor Audio. Again this is just my impression, and don't get me wrong, the Paradigms were very good, but I just couldn't justify the added expense. Incidentally I now have the RS6 for sale here on Audiogon, not because I don't like them, I am just clearing out some gear. Thanks.
