What are your favorite demo songs that you listen to at speaker stores for each of the following parameters? Below is my list:

4) Bass - Vitamin C's Graduation (Friends Forever)
5) Instrument Placement - Still trying to find one

I keep going back to Ron Carter's "The Bass & I" for its excellent imaging, good bass and the fabulous percussion. The 2nd - 5th songs are great. I generally skip the first song. JimL

Violin: "Zigeunerweisen" from Lara St. John's "Gypsy" album.

Bass dynamics and articulation: "Purgatory Road" from Ray Wylie Hubbard's "Growl", and the last track of Edgar Mayer's recording of the Bach Cello Suites on double bass.

Overall dynamics: "The Wall" by Pink Floyd.

Imaging: Ladysmith Black Mambazo's "Shaka Zulu" and Doug MacLeod's "Come to Find".
