Yggdrasil or iFi pro dac

Gun to my head to choose between those two, the Schiit probably.

I wouldn't recommend purchasing an audio component based on measurements alone.  I’d highly suggest listening, preferably in your system.

I have a Yggdrasil Analog 2, and it’s a very fine DAC.  Some guys on Head-Fi have heard both and commented. You may wish to read more there.  My main takeaway from there is the Yggdrasil strikes a
good balance between being precise and musical, whereas the iFi in Bit Perfect mode is a bit warmer and less accurate.

Schiit Audio has a 15 day trial period, something to consider.

I have a Yggi and have compared it to my Oppo UPD 205 which has 2 ESS 9038 Pro chips and prefer the sound of the Yggi which not based upon a delta sigma design but a R2R and it will not play MQA. The Benchmark is also based upon ESS so it would sound similar to the Oppo.  If you like the feature set of the iFi go for it but the Yggi is outstanding for the price.

I recently got rid of my Yggdrasil Analog 2 because it sounded 'lifeless'.Dull, narrow sound stage... and yes it lacks dynamics (a lot of folks get confused it for being 'analogy').
