The unit is not yet available. I inquired with a retailer who called the Yamaha rep who said the S1500 will be available in August.

Have you heard it? If so, how does it compared to the Denon models such as the DVD-2200 or DVD-2900.
I realize that the features may be slightly different between these units, but what about the overall sound and picture quality?
