Chinese made CD player not sure on the quality they used to be iffy there.

In the end why buy a CD player at all why not take this time in your audio growth to go spinner 'less and get something like a Bluesound vault 2i. this would eliminate the need for a CD player by storing all your CD's digitally and playing from the internal hard drive and open up streaming via the internet connection. Its the way of the future so may as well embrace it now that your at a cross roads.

Had a bad experience with a Yaquin hybrid integrated back in the early 2000's..  The second day I had it, it caught fire.  If I had not been in the room at the time, I could have lost my house.  It was very cheaply made, the output transformers were covered with big impressive covers, but underneath, the transformer was so tiny and no more than a 5 dollar part.  Many sharp edges around where the tubes went.  Cut my fingers installing the signal tubes..  I paid around 400 + shipping direct from China.  Threw it out instead of sending it back.  The best part, my home insurance was a 500.00 deductible.  Couldn't even claim it.  They may be better now but you wouldn't see me near one.
The Yaqin hybrid amps were junk, but their all tube integrateds were and still are solid budget options for many. I've heard the CD player and seen a few as well and it gets pretty solid feedback as well. I'm not endorsing them but I haven't heard complaints about them.
Sorry no experience with Yaqin vacuum tube CD player, IME, Shanling Auido CD player are quite good.
