Although made well, Blue Jeans cables are not audiophile grade....they even say so. Unless your system is differentially balanced, there is no benefit in using XLR connections.

I just switched out my phono stage from an iFi iPhono 2 to a PS Audio Nuwave phono stage. The PS Audio offers balanced outputs, and my Cambridge CXA80 has one pair of balanced inputs.
