Everything Pavpet said... but most notable on first hearing are the tremendous DYNAMICS. A lot of propulsive energy from a relatively light weight and innocuous looking product. Intensely musical.
Wyetech Ruby STD Preamp
Has anyone heard this new top of the line pre from Wyetech? I am a long-term, deliriously happy owner of a Wyetech Opal pre, which you would have to pry from my dying arms, but this new model allegedly surpasses the Opal. Cannot find any comments on it except on Wyetech site. I think Roger Hebert, the designer, is a genius and very helpful, but he does not advertise, sells direct and I have not seen any external reviews.
