Would self quarantine be a challenge for an Audiophile? Home detention even a punishment?

Shubert the brain is a very complex organ and we're just on the edge of learning about it. My grandmother who underwent a similar do or die heart operation back in the 1970's had a similar story. Near death experiences are very similar to brains deprived of oxygen stories one day unless we kill ourselves off we'll probably get a fairly good understanding of what's happening. If the belief in life after death gives someone comfort then there's no harm in it at least until people start bombing in order to get to paradise . |
The police put a leg wire on someone here who tested positive but wouldn't stay home in quarantine. He still claimed it wasn't anything worse than having the flu cause the President said so on TV. He didn't need to stay home in quarantine more than a day or two the local news showed an ambulance taking him to the hospital yesterday. Another one of these nuts the police put a 24 hour watch on him because he kept leaving his house. Drink the kool aid baby it's going to be over by Easter. |
Just saw an ad on TV for a car maker (forgot the name) who’s going over to ordering online and making arrangements to pick it up by appointment. There’s also a large grace period on when payments start. Dealers here will bring the papers to sign to your home and disinfect the car before you pick it up. |
I guess because some laughed and joked about his posting links to crazy conspiracy theory sites claiming the virus was smuggled into China and they made the coronavirus , yes I did, he assumes no one took the actual virus seriously. Most here and anyone with a brain, so that leaves Dear Leader out, knew what could happen if the virus couldn't be contained. I knew it couldn't be contained from reading what experts were saying in January. The only thing that did surprise me a little is how this administration didn't take it seriously, "there's only 15 cases now and will probably be none by next week " . I knew they were incompetent but the level of incompetence and disregard for the people was depressing. |
Those are the official numbers out of Italy. Was just watching a show where they said people are at home who have high fevers and coughing but they tell them not to come to the hospital unless they start to have trouble breathing then call for an ambulance but some are dying at home these people are not in the official results. |
The 500 billion for corporations was changed a bit 425 billion of that is loans through the Fed Reserve so it limits the ability of Mnuchin handing it out. Since it's loans hopefully some will be paid back the other 75 billion is grants. Don't take this as gospel until it's signed off by everyone it could still change. Unless I'm out of it and it's already been signed haven't kept up today been working. |
New York Presbyterian began ventilator sharing today like was mentioned earlier on this thread. There are ventilators not being used because there is no federal coordination using their power to distribute needed healthcare equipment where its needed. Instead we have states bidding against each other in a bizarre lassiez-faire free for all. |
Like everything Trump says the GM ventilator order is a cluster. GM was partnering with Ventec who makes ventilators, GM was providing manufacturing space and bodies to help increase production. Under the old rules which this case is, the investment of 1 million didn't require investment in a TEA (targeted employment area). The investment of half a million did require investment in a TEA. The requirements of the TEA designations were set by state and local governments so I am not sure what they are in this instance, usually it's by income or unemployment or both. |
