Worldwide Shipping Situation

Good. Maybe I can get my phono preamp upgraded. Need to ship it to Australia

Excellent.  I ordered tubes from China on 2/22. Estimated delivery date was sometime in April.  They showed up 3/12. I was impressed. 

obviously came air.  Situation for ships may not be as good.  I did just get some tubes from Slovenia today.  They came air also. 

I have an amp on order from Kinki and it is supposed to ship in a few days. I believe they ship air also.  

Now your trip from Nashville to Newark was likely Fedex ground which has been gastopodically slow for a year.  I bought an amp from Europe that arrived in Nashville and still took over a week by ground. But that was faster than some of the other Fedex ground shipments I had late last year.  Maybe things are getting better.

That kind of stuff, Tubes and the like if being sent UPS, DHL, FedEx and USPS for the most part are going Air. When the freight is  'On Water" it will take forever.
