Wondering why...

Michael Lavorgna’s Twittering Machines website is shutting down. I enjoyed the writings as well as the no BS approach.
ghasley
That's a real shame. I always enjoyed Michael's work even back when he wrote the column for audiostream.com only to be replaced by Rafe Arnott. He was also a staff writer at 6moons.com.

He's an artist as well and I think he may have been a writer at one time. He skillfully made the argument that one had to hear something before one could pass judgement on it, a style I've always admired, and left it for others to argue.

I'm going to miss his column.

All the best,
Nonoise

His insights and advice are always appreciated by this reader. I was glad to see his writing on his site, Twiittering Machines, after he left Audiostream/Stereophile.

I wish him the best, grateful how he let us into his listening space (the Barn!) and hope he pops up in the future.

Good luck Michael!

Wait- what?
But that would eliminate 80, maybe 90% of web content?
Will it remain available as an archive to read through?
"He skillfully made the argument that one had to hear something before one could pass judgement on it." Was that before Ivor Tiefenbrun(the founder of Linn Audio Products) said, "If you haven’t heard it: you have no opinion?" Not really so profound, but completely accurate! That fact never has slowed those with Mental Constipation and Verbal Dysentery, from spewing(someone mentioned 80 to 90%?).
That's a pity. Hope you're okay, Michael.
I hope he is ok as well.  I am sure it took a lot of work to get that website and business going and to shut it down after just one year is significant.
