Wireless sub

Any opinions on turning subs to wireless? Hate running cables across my room. Does it sacrifice sound for convenience?

At present, I would say it does, but give it a couple of years and todays
sub manufacturers will imbed wireless circuitry in some of their models.

Not so long ago powered speakers were not measuring up i.e. for audiophiles, but these days that is no longer the case.

But it all depends on the individual's "viewpoint" - some people will never believe wire could be as good as wired

@zappas, I was in similar situation recently. Check out this information from REL: https://rel.net/?s=wireless then decide if it's worth pursuing.

FYI ... I ordered the transmitter from Amazon, and will be taking delivery on wireless-enabled REL sub very soon. All the best.

Happy Listening!
I have 4 subs, 2 are connected wirelessly. No perceptible difference in sound quality between the ones that are wired and aren't.
In the realm of a stupid question, why not run your entire speaker scheme wirelessly?
I have the Velodyne wireless unit connected to my REL.... it sounds pretty good, I doubt anyone could tell the difference
Just remember no matter what you do, the crux of the biscuit is the apostrophe.
