Willie Nelson - a couple of questions please

My first question is ; Is Willie in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame ? Some of my friends say ; no he is not. My second question is ; I have ; Teatro, Stardust and Greatest Hits - what other albums, discs would you recommend after those three for my collection ? Thank you

Willie and Family - "Live" from 1978. A really fantastic live double LP. Really, really good.
Well. you're probably going to get just about all of his albums recommended,  but if you don't mind slow tempos, his album with Ray Price, "San Antonio Rose" is a great one.  If you want something a little more uptempo, "Willie Nelson Sings Kristofferson" is another good one.  Great songs, great performances.
Check out the often overlooked album called Spirit. I love it. Really well recorded and produced as well.  Shotgun Willy and Redheaded Stranger are also great.
Thank you and keep them coming in ......So is he in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame ?
He is in the Agriculture Hall of Fame for  his work on Farm Aid, though. Lot’s of greats not in the RRHOF.
Willie is god here in Austin.
I support Willie coz he fights for my rights to smoke weed and don't give a puck about his being part of RRHOF or not.
I'd also pick on Willie And Family to my favorite album as mentioned here before.
December Day - with his sister Bobbie Nelson on the piano - great album.

To all the Girls - Duets with various Women - Great Album too

Good Listening

His newest, "God's Problem Child" is my favorite, right up there with "Red Headed Stranger", and I have most of his music for comparison. His voice and his choice of songs just keeps getting better.
"Phases and Stages" is rather interesting--one side of the LP gives the woman's point of view of a disintegrating marriage and the other side gives the man's.   Also, it includes that great tune "Bloody Merry Morning."

Thanks Sfar, great recommendation.  I was not even aware of that album.  Just gave it a listen via Tidal.

I have been absolutely addicted to Willie lately.
My top three right now are:
Spirit
Teatro
Red Headed Stranger
If anyone wants to hear a good tribute to Willie - Phosphorescent’s “To Willie” is a really solid album.
