Wilco, A.Escovedo, Lucinda - ACL Hall of Fame Induction Concert + Terry Allen, Roseanne

 

Back in October, Wilco was inducted into the Austin City Limits Hall of Fame alongside Alejandro Escovedo and Lucinda Williams. A fabulous night was had by all. There were speeches! special guests! performances! It was a night we'll always remember, in part because it was filmed for PBS. 

You can now stream the full ceremony, which includes performances by Wilco, Terry Allen, Bill Callahan, Michelle Zauner, Roseanne Cash and many many more.

Thank you for posting.  

I used to live in Austin and knew Terry L. during that time.  Went to see many many many shows at ACL.  including early Lucinda shows!  And yes, I got to see Alejandro play many many times.  his shows were AWESOME. (thank you to Laura for turning me onto Alejandro early on.... that is the Laura H. from the original Antones' club.. then later Laura ran bookings for La Zona Rosa)

ACL has had a really amazing run.

Too bad they had to cancel the 12/31 show w/ Spoon headlining!

I used to see Alejandro when he was bass player with the great San Francisco punk band The Nuns in the mid-late 70's....

I saw Alejandro when he was in Rank & File (with the Kinman brothers, formerly of Punk band The Dils). Rank & File were part of the Cowpunk movement of the early/mid-1980's. Hard to believe, but he just turned 71!
