wifi speaker sendind unit

I'm considering using some sort of wifi sending unit to power two speakers to the sides of our bed. We have two nice speakers in front being powered by a Pioneer VSX-94TXH receiver and I want to run two speakers of similar quality without running cables under the carpet or resorting to major sheetrock attic renovation. Any ideas would be appreciated, I know I read something on this approach awhile back but I can't find the article.
