Parasound is a great value and punches above its weight due to being made in Taiwan. I generally find Parasound to be competent but unexciting.
PS Audio is made in USA and is a more recent design. I like the tube input stage as that gives flexibility to tweak your sound profile. Definitely not a good value new when you consider no price change when PS Audio went from dealer to direct. Buy used.
A third choice is the Musical Fidelity M6s PRX. Wonderful amp. Is a true Dual Mono design and is made in Taiwan so represents a strong value. 230w into 8 ohms and was a Stereophile A Rated Amp till they discontinued it. When ProJect bought MF, one of the first things they did was bring this amp back. I am an MF dealer. PM me if interested as this amp is $2490 new.
