Why do almost all women today hate home audio?

Why do almost all (99%) of women never seriously, sit, and listen to home audio through even one album?

I knew many, many women that listened, and had there own stereos, in the late 60's and 70's.

They even had big record collections, and some even had real-to-real tape recorders.

Why did they disappear?

What changed?

LOL, you guys are so funny.  Women who love music exist. I'm a testimony to that (and I'm sure I am not the only one of my kind).  I sit and listen to music for hours on my days off. My husband likes TV better, but he will blast music from his dacless mac-mini hooked up to the bedroom stereo maybe once a month. When he does, I get up and go shut the bedroom door.
A woman answers and no one acknowledges her response.  Maybe that's why you don't know any female music enthusiasts, because you don't listen to them...  99%, really?!?
mesch, thanks for the acknowledgement. On my days off I usually listen to music mid-morning until about 6 or 7 pm, then I watch TV.  What I listen to varies greatly in any given session (not always sitting in the sweet spot).  Sometimes a whole cd, sometimes a song or 2 from multiple cd's.  My system begins with the Signalyst HQ Player.  From there, a Marantz receiver, Calyx DAC, Monitor Audios with an SVS sub.  If headphones, it's Violectric HP amp and Hifiman.  This combination is musical bliss to me. And that is not to say I wouldn't greatly enjoy other people's systems, too. Evidently there's a multitude of combinations to make music sound wonderful.
