I recently heard the M&K tripole surround speaker which retail for 1250. They are the S-150 or something like that. It was the best surround speaker I have heard by far. They were the rear channel of a system which was controlled by a Lexicon M-1 driving Parasound amplifiers with NHT 2.9 for the front and an NHT center. The M&K blended perfectly creating a very even sound field.
