Which movie would you most like to see in HD

Warner Bros has announced that they will soon be releasing several classic movies remastered on Blu Ray high def dvd's. Which classic movie (or movies) would you most like to see remastered in high def?

For me, it's a tossup between the original Star Wars trilogy or the Back To The Future trilogy.
kinsekd
the godfather, the godfather 2,the deer hunter, and scarface would be at the top of my list
Dunno - but if you have not got Blade Runner then you must - absolutely stunning cinematography.
Godfather trilogy (well first two), LOTR, English Patient, Amelie
For me it would have to be Lost Highway by David Lynch. The only version that is now available on DVD is obviously a copy from VHS. I haven't seen it for years since it looks Soooo bad. I'd love to see it crystal clear. It's one of my all time favorites.
"Debby Does Dallas"--yea,baby.
I am Spartacus...
I Am Spartacs...
I AM SPARTACUS
Avguygeorge,

Debbie Does Dallas Again was the first porn ever released on Blu-ray....

I'm still waiting for Fight Club.
Maybe Terrance Malick's Days of Heaven. One of the most visually stunning flicks ever. Terrific score, too. Sounds like a good one for HD transfer with a newly remastered soundtrack now that I think of it.
Plan 9 from outer space.
Being a big fan of Blade Runner, I recently saw it in HD for the first time. Just astounding. Especially the opening sequence flying over the city with the gas flames and lights.
I too am a fan of Days of Heaven-- unbelievable photography; AA WINNER. Not that I'm a prude but I have never seen DDD,nor DDD,again---Also never knew DDD,again was available on BD.

He-he. Good one. Not in the same league, but right now I have the HD DVD of 1956's Forbidden Planet in the house from Netflix.

What I'd like to see in hi-def? Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Going hi-def did wonders for the Harry Potter series.
1) The Lord of the Rings (extended versions) Trilogy on Blu-Ray.

2) Star Wars sextology on Blu-Ray.

3) The Matrix Trilogy on Blu-Ray
The Star Wars sextology has evidently been remastered in HD, just not released on discs yet. I've seen listings for HD broadcasts of all the Star Wars episodes on either StarzHD or HBO HD, can't remember which. And I checked some of them out and they were real HD transfers, not just 480 upconversions in 16:9 like some HD programming.

Heck, after seeing John Wayne and The Cowboys on HD DVD, I want EVERYTHING transferred to HD.
LOTR for me

I have them all saved on my DVR. They were/are on HBO and Cinemax. Though, HDTV broadcasts are nowhere near as pristine as a Blu-Ray copy would be, due to the compression artifacts added in order to send it over cable and satellite. :(

I also have the Lord of the Rings trilogy saved on my DVR as well. Those were broadcast on TNT in HD. Again, compression artifacts and areas of the movie were compromised further (such as shadow details) in order to submit over cable and satellite.

I also have two of the Matrix trilogy on DVR (I'm missing the best one, the first one). Again, HD cable broadcast, with compression artifacts.

That 500 GB drive sure came in handy. I must have 50 HD movies on my DVR. ;)

Before you mentioned this at the end, I was going to ask, how did you fit all those movies on a DVR?

Having answered that, now I have to ask, how do you get a 500 GB DVR?
Pitch Black, Planet of the Apes(remake), Alien, Heat, Once Upon a Time in America, Prizzi's Honor, Goodfella's, True Romance.
Apocalypse Now (not Redux)
Brazil
LOTR
Dr. Zhivago, The Right Stuff

Western Digital has an expander hard disk built specifically for my Cablevision Explorer 8300HD DVR box.
