I would try ebay or maybe KAB at kabusa.com. I think, but am not sure that the 1500 and 1200 use many of the same parts. Good luch in your search.
Where to find a counterweight
Was at a garage sale and found a HK 330a and technics sl1500 for $10.
Score right, well almost, no counterweight on the sl1500.
currently using a Hitachi ht320 and have been told the sl1500 is better.

theres a guy in town who sells used TT's was thinking of trading the ht320 for repair work on the Sl1500, hes the guy i traded for the ht320.
