In certain cartridge setup methods, it is recommend that you align the protractor with this pivot point. However, I do not understand or am unsure of where the pivot is. Can anyone help? What should I be pointing to?
The pivot in question is the arm pivot---the bearing. The point is the center of the (vertical) axis of the bearing which allows the arm to swing horizontally across the record.
