Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1

Jerry Garcia - Garcia  This is a beater that came from a friend's deceased ex-wife's collection.  Sadly I had to throw most of them away they were so beat up.  This looks like crap, but plays surprisingly well after a good scrub on the VPI and a spin in the US cleaner.

@big_greg You do VPI before US? Ever try the opposite? I would think US would loose up stuff deeply embedded, and a post US rinsing is a good idea.

Spencer, I don't want to stick a really dirty record in the US cleaner and have whatever crud was on it in the tank, thus the scrub and rinse on the VPI before US.

I’m listening to an old Quintessence LP of Earl Wild playing Rachmaninoff’s 4th Piano Concerto with Jasha Horenstein conducting. Fabulous disc in every way.
‘Those old Quintessence recordings, though cheap, were outstanding.
