Badger, I saw a car cruising around town a while back with a "Joes Garage" outer licence plate ring on it. I need one of those!

moe.
Land Of Kush / Against the day

The last two selections of mine are from a label called "Constellation". The bands they feature are off the beaten path (for sure) and innovative for the most part, but I haven't bought an album from them that hasn't been great from a sound quality standpoint.
Congratulations on the Spatial's uber!  Almost pulled the trigger on a pair of those a couple years ago. From what I've read (& now you confirmed), they are really good.
I don't know uber. My wife came home with an 8 pack yesterday though. I laughed :-)

Hey Steve, I don't doubt for a second that you mentioned it. My short term memory loss seems to have extended with age. 🤔

+1 For "The Third Mind" This is really different than his (Dave Alvin) solo albums

Up Next (Streaming)... Terry Allen / Smokin the dummy

Thank you slaw. Like you, I've been a music lover for as long as I can remember. I got turned on to New Riders in the early 80's. They were tight with The Grateful Dead and featured in Relix.

Lou Reed / New York

Hey Reubent,

What is your take on the song "Push it out", what are they talking about there?

BTW, I love the Beta Band! +1

Todd Rundgren / Todd

There is that name again... You guys are making it mandatory I check him out

Bright Eyes / I'm wide awake it's morning
Just bought "Swamp Music" off discogs. You guys can stop your nagging now :-)
Yes it is. Absolutely wonderful music. One of my favorite bands ever

Lambchop / FLOTUS
Who would have thought  Vince Welnick  would end up in the Grateful Dead. Absolutely crazy

noromance, Wooden Wand is a great band!
Nico & the Faction / Fata Morgana
Eno / Taking Tiger Mountain
Grateful Dead / Europe 1972 II
Slint / Spiderland
Me too. That album was a couple years after Avalon (which was IMO an absolute masterpiece) & has a lot of that same style to it. Speaking of Avalon...

Roxy Music / Avalon
