Gotta +1 you Brian on Eels!

Greg, I was reading somewhere that Joe Walsh played on a Donna Summers album. Cool! I know he was called to be a session musician at times

Joel,

I enjoyed reading. Nice to have a music friend to go with, and smart as well.

Sounded like a fantastic experience!

I stumbled upon this site today. The Fruit Bats have released a complete cover of "Siamese Dream" on vinyl. Had to have it!

Just ordered a used Origin Live DC motor/controller/package to hopefully upgrade my Townshend Rock 7.

Another project.
Brian,

I, for one, love to hear the process from others.

Are you using Herbies tube dampers? I find their simple, yet highly effective, stiff "ring" to be a superb way of mounting/controlling the damping. All the while, allowing for different damping methods to be used.

Got in a set of aluminum Nobsound springs today. I’ve been looking forward to getting some in. In my current setup they went under the Trio, replacing BDR cones.

Probably gonna order some Townshend Pods to go between the top shelf on my wall mount and the supporting arms

Hey Bill,

Been meaning to ask you about the Kurt Vile. My sister saw him live last weekend in NM.

The Milk Carton Kids "All the Things I Did, All the Things I Didn’t Do"

Excellent!

Highly recommended!!

Tim,

I have had a similar set out of acrylic for years. I didn’t like them as much as these. The acrylic bases on the others made an audible scratching noise. Unlike the more substantial material on the Nobsound.

I can’t really make a substantive comparison at this time but my system has never sounded better in the last few weeks and this change today did nothing to harm this. I do believe the power of the low to deep bass has benefited.

Lucinda Williams "The Ghosts of Highway 20"

Heard one song on local radio today and had to play it!

An underrated masterpiece!
