What songs/albums are you not finding on Tidal and/or Qobuz?
I am relatively new to Tidal, Qobuz, and Roon.
I was very surprised when I was unable to find any albums by Flim and the BB’s on either service. They were a contemporary jazz group who did some of the earliest direct to digital recordings. One of their 8 albums won jazz CD of the year, yet none of there music appears to be on either service.
I also was only able to find two albums recorded on Command Records label on Tidal (Provocative Percussion 3&4. And Big Band Bossa Nova). I cannot find this label at all on Qobuz. It is a shame. These were extraordinary quality stereo recordings starting in 1959 with the label lasting for several years. They were recorded magnetically and in multichannel on special 35mm film. There is a world of early stereo and quadraphonic recording history contained in the other Command Albums.
i also find it interesting that Roon was unable to locate the two Command recordings that are on Tidal. I tried searching several ways with no success. I was only able to find them searching the Tidal app directly or thru the MControl app.
What has benn your experience with music you listen to that is either missing from Tidal, Qobuz, or both?
