What's Your Favorite Type of Listening Chair for Audio

What's your favorite chair for listening to high end audio? Stationary with ottoman, recliner, swivel, rocker? Acoustically it is probably best not to have your ears blocked by the back of the chair. If you have a particular brand and model you like, please mention.

Sound quality trumps comfort. For that reason, as far as cushy, foamy, leathery chairs go, I’m out. If I’m visiting someone who has such a chair or sofa I tolerate it, but just barely.
I listen from Wassily Chairs. In addition to being a beautiful and classic design (see this Wikipedia writeup), their relatively low seating position results in my ears being at an optimal height for my particular speakers (Daedalus Ulysses), and I would expect any effects they might have on sonics due to reflections to be very minimal compared to many other kinds of chairs.

Also, the Wassily chairs are very easy to re-position when my wife and I are both listening.

Various knockoffs of the Wassily are available at much lower prices than the genuine article shown at the first link.

Fabric recliner that's comfortable to me. Then adjust tilt of speakers for my ear height from floor. Done. Happy camper ;)!
I have a pair of Knoll Barcelona replica chairs. They replaced an old, overstuffed sofa w/built in recliner which, I discovered, had sucked out the bass and lower mids, after I sold my speakers, which I thought were lacking in bass and the lower mids. Lesson learned.

All the best,

I am currently keeping my butt off the floor with an IKEA poang.

>>>>>Don’t get me started.
The leather Ekornes Stressless Recliner I got at Plummer's about fifteen years ago was certainly the most comfortable listening chair I ever had.  When the leather finally wore out, my wife insisted I get a new chair that looked less nerdy.  Now I have a non-adjustable fabric living room chair that is just a hair less comfortable than was the Stressless Recliner. I got it at an upscale furniture store.   Still better, the chair is wide enough for me to keep both a computer mouse and my CD player's remote control by my side. I am a happy  guy.
geoffkait,I assume you had one of these, and it didn't do a proper job of keeping your butt off of the floor??
It did that fine. But, gawd, the sound was awful. Didn’t you notice?
Based on an earlier thread and geoffkait's shared poang knowledge, I switched from it to an upholstered rocker.  (If anyone is keeping score, geoffkait was right!)  Sitting on the floor was better SQ, a simple wooden chair was good too, an unexpected positive outcome from experimenting with different chairs was that I optimized the tilt of the speakers to the final listening position, but back to the chair.  Comfort has to be a factor, I prefer a listening chair I can fall asleep in.  I am sure there is foam, but it doesn't have the strange resonance and suck-out that was present with poang.
I’m not trying to upset anybody’s Apple cart but the same idea regarding the crappy foam applies to SONEX as well. Even a little bit.
This is the only chair I’ve had in my small listening room,so I have not heard anything else. I will definitely take that info under advisement.
Ekornes Stressless.  Cool looking and very comfortable.

@almarg...never seen or heard of those chairs.  Thanks for the link and info.  I thought my Ekornes was expensive :-)
