I noticed that a lot of equipment is being produced in silver again as well as black. McIntosh might be the smart one, never changing styles, just waiting till they came back in style again! One thing nice about silver, no scratches!!
I have always thought that silver looks much more elegant than the dreary black. I love that classe has made silver their "look" and kept it for many years. It's nice to see more brands going silver.
Yes, happily we are starting to see some color on faceplates other than basic black. Bryston has been offering silver faceplates for a year or so, and I notice that NAD also has a line with silver faceplates. Sony is also offering silver faceplates on some of the DVD players, to complement their WEGA TV line.
