What is an excellent power cable?

Looking for a high quality power cable. Anyone recommend anything? Also, is a quality power distributor important as well?

Especially under $300. Sure you can do better if you have several times the $$ to spend. I have one on my DVD player. I use the New Verastarr power cords And system cables totally reference wuality cables.
