What happened to Barclay Digital ?

Do you know what happened to Barclay Digital ? I know that the company is probably long out of business, but does anyone know the history behind that company ? Who set it up, the products they made, when did they went out of business etc ?

I'm just curious. I have always been a fan of their X-1 transport.

There is a Barclay transport for sale right now.Made out of Corian!.Check it out.
