What are you streaming tonight?

As we are in the modern age of music I thought I would see how this fares.
We have threads specific for cdp and tt so why not streaming as it is a modern media.
I don't care if you stream Tidal, Deezer, Spotify, Paradise Radio or any number of internet stations.
I would like you to share your tastes and method of streaming.

Airstream - The Book Of Sounds

Qobuz

Trying to get outside of my usually music choices and try some mellow music.  Perfect for a rainy afternoon.
Queen - Greatest Hits

Qobuz Hi-Res

Doing some power listening today while catching up on some reading. When I retired I promised myself I would catch up on my reading and music. Finally getting around to it.

i think lots of audiophiles like Dead Can Dance because it can really show off their systems. I kinda like Dionysius (my first DCD album); it reminds me of Peter Gabriel’s “Last Temptation of Christ” soundtrack. Listened to that a lot in grad school.
Listening to a playlist on Qobuz, “Reggae from A to Z: Ska & Rocksteady”.  Started off with Desmond Dekker and The Aces “Israelites”...
Beastie Boys - Paul’s Boutique.   Been meaning to listen to this for years, but never came across the record.  The joys or streaming...
Sunwatchers - Oh Yeah?  On Qobuz

I found this album off a New Jazz playlist, but honestly it sounds like prog rock to me.
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here.   Caught Miley Cyrus’ performance on SNL.   Nice try, but *meh*. Nice video, though.
Lucinda Williams - Good Souls Better Angels.
Qobuz Hi-Res.  Wonderfully engineered album. Don’t recommend listening to this if you are blue.  A dark album!
geoffkait, no twerking.  Nice guitar and singing around a fire pit.  Nicely filmed.  But her rendition was not to my taste.
The Police - Zenyatta Mondatta.    May be the best COVID-19 album ever.  “Don’t Stand So Close To Me”, “Driven To Tears”, Canary In A Coal mine” and so on...

Holiday tradition.  Sounds good streaming on Qobuz.
Lang Lang - At The Royal Albert Hall

A little calming music after the news.
So, modern technology is both a blessing and a curse.  Popped out for a few minutes and downloaded the new Cat Stevens album...50th anniversary re-recording and rearranging...onto my phone.    Ended up not listening to it, but figured I would just listen to it on my streamer.

i get home to find my internet cable severed by my lawn service mower.
Luckily I can stream the album via Bluetooth to my PowerNode.   I will have tp wait a bit for the Prog Rock, but will def check out Rod Argent.
Cat Stevens- Tea For The Tillerman2

Looking for some Barbara Lynn Ozen, and stumbled across a Ska/Soul band from Finland called the Northquakes, and their album Tears In The Rain.   Pretty damn good!

Udiscovermusic.com posted an interesting article this morning, entitled “ 25 Greatest Prog Rock Albums Of All Time”. I see a few I haven’t listened to yet, so if I have time I’ll do a little exploration.

Jerry Jeff Walker - Viva Terlingua

Qobuz

R.I.P.   I’ll make some sangria wine tonight and think about all the chicken fried steak I would eat in Luckenbach, Viva Terlingua playing in the background, when I was a student at UT.  And while living in London at least once a week I would listen to him and Gary P. Nunn playing London Homesick Blues.
21 Grandes Successos - Elba Ramalho

i need some good forro in my life.  Caught her in Natal RN, Brazil back in 1984.
Uberwaltz,

My first New Wave album ever. I bought it from a local record shop when I was in high school to play on my Zenith Allegro Wedge.
I saw an interview with Adam Ant recently. Living alone in a small apartment, and showed off all his medication. I sure felt old...
The Runaways - The Runaways
Adam & The Ants - Kings Of The Wild Frontier

I am searching around in Qobuz to see what they have for interesting world music.  Found some Saharan Psych rock.  This guy sounds like the reincarnation of Jimi Hendrix

Steve Guttenberg had a cluster of music reviews this morning, including several posters on this forum have been listening to.   He seems to really like The Pineapple Thief.
