Well I'll be darned..........

........I really didn't expect this! I'm not much of a tweak-o-holic. I wish I could afford/justify purchasing an Audio Desk Systeme record cleaner. It's all the buzz and I would love to have one. But I could swing a few cents at Todd The Vinyl Junkie for a Furutech DeStat II on sale this Sept for under $400. I thought to myself, if it doesn't work to my expectations, I can sell it and not lose much money.

I'll be darned but the thing works great. Worth $400 - maybe. But it does indeed eliminate around 80% of the static clicks and pops I normally get. Sure a few threads have been up about it but it works! For those of you with static problems that haven't gone away with conventional attempts (zerostat, static sprays, grounding bearings, etc), the DeStat may actually be worth a try!
