warming up time tube amplifier

The manual suggests 30 seconds warming up time as 'sufficient' and to not turn it off at all when using it multiple times a day (but to keep the tubes glowing waeres them out as well).
So would turning it off and allowing 10-15 minutes warming up be the ultimate for tube life?

I don't know if that general a approach applies to all tube amps; it probally is related in some manner to the amps design, operating voltages and type of tubes used.
What amp(s) are you running?
If atmasphere pops in on this thread I would pay attention to his response.
tubes are up to speed in 5 minutes or so, the capacitors take a little longer...I wait about one hour. If you listen multiple times a day I would not turn the tube equipment on and off. I'd turn it off at the end of the day.
