I was looking at the Wadia 170i and decided to go with a Logitech Squeezebox touch and couldn't be happier. Just my 0.02.

I currently have the 120 gig classic ipod for my Wadia and
would like to hear from any of you who have compared the classic ipods to the touch which is supposed to have less noise. Is it worth the upgrade? A compare and contrast would be great. Also, I would like to mention that I run my Wadia through the highly invaluable Genesis Digital Lens. I have always had the Lens even back when I used to own 10,000 worth of Levinson digital gear. With out the Lens the Wadia is not listenable. I have it set on diter 1 at 20 bit into my Bel Canto Dac 3. Powering my Wadia is the amazing CI audio power supply which turned out to be a huge upgrade.
I can't believe how good my digital is sounding with the
